The Gait Analyzer is a sophisticated application that leverages smartphone-based sensors to calculate gait parameters in real-time. Currently, it measures various parameters, including gait velocity, step time, step length, cadence, and symmetry, with plans for additional measurements following ongoing validation efforts.

• It offers both single- and dual-task cognitive and gait options. The cognitive testing suite comprises an auditory Stroop task, n-back task, and verbal fluency task. The outcomes are measured in terms of reaction time and accuracy.
• Users can easily save their raw and computed gait or cognitive data to a comma-delimited text file in iCloud for further analysis.
• To begin using the application, only your height is required; however, users can optionally provide demographic information. This enables comparisons of walking characteristics with age-, gender-, and location-matched individuals.
• The platform allows for the analysis of historical gait and cognitive data, facilitating longitudinal assessments.
• The methodology underpinning the Gait Analyzer has previously been employed to evaluate dual-task smartphone usage and has demonstrated both validity and reliability, as supported by studies available on PubMed: Study 1, Study 2.
